COVID-19 UPDATE: We are currently conducting our one-on-one tutoring sessions online. Our students are all doing great and are still making great progress. We will continue teaching and learning in this online format until health officials feel that being in close proximity is deemed safe for all our families and teachers. This is not ideal for anyone, but we are still committed to providing our high-level intervention based tutoring methods to help our students and families through this difficult transition. We know what students need right now to continue to make progress and our teachers are still providing a valuable and engaging session for their students. We are still enrolling for summer, though sessions will now be online.
The only tutoring center designed for early learners
Only the best teachers
Educated teaching professionals are what sets us apart. All our teachers are credentialed. This is important to us because you want the best for your money and your child. Teaching early math and literacy is not something just anyone can do. We don't compromise on the quality of our teachers, because education matters most.
Our main goal is to build confidence
Students who come to see us, instantly increase their confidence in school. Our teachers know how to make the connections that students need. We value our students, and know what motivates them. We also know what is expected of them in the classroom. By connecting the two, parents see and students feel an immediate boost at school.
It is proven that learners need to receive information through multiple sensory inputs for best retention. That is why we always teach using as many different sensory inputs as possible, especially big movement, since that is the most effective of all sensory inputs for young children.
We teach to all learners
We teach to all learning styles and differences. We don't like to label students with Learning Disabilities as disabled, because we know they just process information differently than most. We teach using research based, best practices teaching methods. We use direct instruction in an explicit and systematic way, that works for all learners.
Our proprietary assessment was created to give parents and teachers a snapshot of a student's current knowledge. It allows us to pinpoint areas of strength and focus our instruction on the areas that need our help. From this we create your students individual learning plan.
Our 30-minute age, age appropriate session time, is designed for maximum impact. Based on brain research, young children can only handle 5-12 minutes of direct instruction. With that in mind we vary our lesson format, and keep things efficient, fun, and meaningful.
